Get in the Game -
Paris Games Week
Women In Games International (WIGI) is heading to Paris Games Week for our Get in the Game Program.
This program is bringing select mentees to the conference to learn how to network, create an elevator pitch, and the best ways to elevate their experiences to future employers. Airfare, hotels, per diem, and conference tickets are covered by WIGI to ensure that mentees are truly able to attend the conference stress free.
This program will run from October 31st to November 7th in Paris, France.
Get in the Game -
Gamescom Asia
Women In Games International (WIGI) is heading to Gamescom Asia for our Get In the Game Program.
This program is bringing select mentees to the conference to learn how to network, create an elevator pitch, and the best ways to elevate their experiences to future employers. Airfare, hotels, per diem, and conference tickets are covered by WIGI to ensure that mentees are truly able to attend the conference stress free.
This program will run from October 20th to 23rd in Singapore!


TwitchCon NA
We are excited to be heading to San Diego, California to attend TwitchCon NA.
We'll have a booth at Qweerty's Charity Mixer where attendees can stop by to learn more about our programs, sign-up for our newsletter to keep in the know, and also get some free swag! Be sure to swing by and say hi if you're attending the charity mixer!
We'll also be walking around the TwitchCon floor so if you see one of us, stop and say hi! We'll have free swag for you!
WeSummit 2022
Our CEO, Joanie Kraut, will be attending and speaking at the International Esports Federation's Annual Conference, "We Summit 2022." She'll be giving a talk on "The Unsung Heroes of Esports" alongside Bora Hercicek.
If you are attending, do stop by and say hi to Joanie who will be at the event all week!

We are excited to be heading to Seattle, Washington to attend PAX West 2022.

Get in the Game -
ESI London
Women In Games International (WIGI) is heading to ESI Washington for our fifth Get In the Game Program.
This program is bringing select mentees to the conference to learn how to network, create an elevator pitch, and the best ways to elevate their experiences to future employers. Airfare, hotels, per diem, and conference tickets are covered by WIGI to ensure that mentees are truly able to attend the conference stress free.
This program will run from September 5th through 7th and will be held in the London, UK.


GenCon 2022
We are excited to be heading to Indianapolis, Indianna to attend GenCon 2022.
We'll be hosting a panel on Thursday, August 4th at 4pm to talk all about Self-Advocacy in the tabletop space called, "Table Stakes: Diversity in Games". Be sure to attend the event to learn more from our CMO Kendryx Linscott and our panelists about their journey in the tabletop space and what self-advocacy means to them.
TwitchCon Amsterdam
We are excited to be heading to Amsterdam, the Netherlands to participate in TwitchCon Amsterdam from the 16th to 17th of July as one of their featured charities!

Let's Get Proud!
We're excited to announce that we've teamed up with I Need Diverse Games and Qweerty Gamers to celebrate equality in the global games industry. Throughout the month of June, we are amplifying voices, raising awareness, and driving industry awareness to ensure that every individual feels included, seen, and represented in the games industry.

This program will run from May 16 to 18th and will be held in the nation's capital Washington, D.C.

PAX East
Women In Games International (WIGI) is heading to PAX East!
We're looking for volunteers to help us at our booth in the PAX Together Lounge at PAX East on April 21-24.
Volunteers will receive a free pass to the event and a WIGI swag kit!
The deadline for applications is April 12th.
PAX Unplugged
Women In Games International (WIGI) is heading to PAX Unplugged in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and we are looking for volunteers to help support our booth in the Diversity Lounge on Dec 10th, 11th, & 12th.
Each volunteer will receive a complementary three-day pass to PAX Unplugged, access to WIGI's networking event, and a WIGI swag bundle.

2nd Annual Women in Games Breakfast
WIGI is proud to support the second annual Women in Games Breakfast for GamesBeat Summit 2021.
The breakfast will run from 8 a.m. Pacific time to 9:30 a.m. on April 29 and will feature panels, a live Q&A, and breakout sessions.
PRESS FORWARD SUMMIT
WIGI is proud to partner with Evil Geniuses to launch PRESS FORWARD, a diversity, equity, and inclusion summit for women in gaming.
Kicking off on April 24th, the first event in the series will blend career-focused sessions from esports professional gamers, game designers, entrepreneurs from Riot Games, 343 Industries, and more. In addition to panels and keynotes, the online event will feature resume review, recruiter feedback, and networking over breakout sessions and interactive activities.
Aimed at young women who are looking to educate themselves on career opportunities in the gaming industry or to add fuel to existing career paths, the event will feature attendance from recruiters at multiple game companies to participate in panel discussions and offer tips on career development.


YOUR HOUR, HER POWER
Throughout the month of March, Women in Games International in partnership with Dress for Success Worldwide is celebrating Women's History Month with the Your Hour, Her Power campaign.
WIGI's goal is to promote the inclusion, advancement, and retention of women in the global games industry. With a focus on women's equality as well as equity and opportunity, we have taken the pledge to empower women through participating in the 31 Days of Women in Power campaign.
Please join us not only to celebrate women but to take action in advancing equality by donating the equivalent of just one hour of pay (or any amount) to empower a woman. With your help, we can reach our goal of $25K to aid women worldwide.

ThanksGaming is a celebration of Women, Non-Binary, Transgender, and Non-gender conforming excellent in games to support GGP Scholars.
