Power Leveling Series

WIGI's mission is based on cultivating resources to promote the inclusion, advancement, and retention of women in the global games industry. The Power Leveling Series features free-to-access workshops focused on building confidence to navigate your career in the games industry as a woman. 

 

The series features two separate tracks focused on (1) entry to mid and (2) exec-level professionals.

 

Sessions cover a range of topics from How to Have Uncomfortable Conversations, Recognizing and Combatting Imposter Syndrome, Avoiding Burnout, and Breaking into the C-Suite.

WIGI was able to award 10 recipients with all-access passes to attend the 17th Annual LA Games Conference Online thanks to the generous support of Digital Media Wire. 
 
LA Games Conference is a high-end favorite among game, media, and investment leaders for the high-energy, focused environment for networking, meetings, and deal-making. This 3-day online conference is part of a new complementary series to Digital Media Wire’s live events - a new venture in serving our community and sharing ideas.

LA Games Conference Online features three tracks over three days, with fireside chats, roundtables, panels, and presentations on digital game investment, creation, distribution, marketing, and monetization.

Stat Boost

WIGI's Stat Boost series are skill-building boot camps ranging from 3 to 5 days in length and focus on helping women break into and move up within the games industry.

 

Sessions include job-search coaching, resume and cover letter creation guided by game industry recruiters, learning how to network to build a pipeline of opportunities, post-interview follow-up techniques, accepting the job offer, and negotiating your salary.

Micro Mentorship Program

Women in Games International is known for running actionable mentorship programs. The Micro Mentorship Program is a 30-day course focused on career guidance and work-life balance.

 

This course will help participants identify goals and refine career strategy through small cohorts, mentorship meetings, 1:1 sessions with industry experts, and the ability to connect and learn from the largest global Women in Games community.
